Ending violence against women is a central goal of AFRIW’s advocacy. We recognise that violence takes many forms—physical, psychological, economic, and structural—and that addressing it requires long-term commitment. We work to break the silence through education, survivor support, and policy engagement.
The impact of conflict and displacement on women and girls is profound, yet their resilience and leadership are often overlooked. AFRIW advocates for the protection of women’s rights in times of war and crisis, amplifying women’s voices and ensuring access to justice, services, and participation in rebuilding efforts.
Our vision combines research, awareness-raising, and partnership development to ensure that every woman and girl can live free from fear, violence, and exclusion.
